On motorways and dual carriageways, the maximum speed for this type of motorhome is 100 km/h. In all cases, the specific speed limits for each road must always be observed.

A motorhome may be parked wherever parking is permitted, provided the applicable regulations are respected and the distinction between parking and camping is observed.

There are also many motorhome areas and places specifically prepared for overnight stays.

Yes. Melc has heating and hot water, so it can also be used during the colder months.

Melc runs on diesel.

Consumption depends on driving style, the route and travel conditions, but as a guide it is approximately 11 to 13 litres per 100 km.

Melc is handed over with the fuel tank at the agreed level and must be returned at the same level.

Yes. Before every trip, we inspect and clean Melc so that it is handed over ready and in perfect condition.

When it is returned, the interior must be kept reasonably clean, and the wastewater tanks and toilet must be empty.

The security deposit provides cover for possible defects, damage, missing items, outstanding fuel, exceptional cleaning or other incidents attributable to use during the rental.

The deposit conditions and amount are provided before each booking is confirmed.

Any journey off the island must be discussed and authorised in advance. In these cases, we may also assess the driver’s experience with vehicles of this size.

Before handover, we will need identity documents and driving licences for everyone who will be driving Melc.

The specific requirements will be confirmed with you personally before the booking is finalised.

A valid category B driving licence is sufficient for Melc, subject to the licence age and validity conditions specified before the booking is confirmed.

An international driving permit may be required for licences issued outside the European Union.

Melc is handed over with the basic equipment needed for the trip, including household linen and kitchen utensils.

You bring your clothes. We take care of everything else.

We do not recommend using the water from the tank for drinking or cooking.

It is intended mainly for showering, cleaning and other sanitary uses.
